Who is Behind Easy Profit Bot?
The program was created by Jimmy Kim and Dan Briffa. Offhand I hadn’t heard of either of these guys, but it turns out that Jimmy was an integral part of the teams that developed Commission Domination, Income Instruments, Clickbank Wealth Formula and a number of other successful products.
What is Easy Profit Bot?
In a nutshell, it’s a Windows-based software program that automates the building and content creation process for profitable WordPress-based affiliate sites. Its primary unique selling propositions are:
- It’s a Windows application, so everything can be done without the user having to go into WordPress. This makes it more “newbie” friendly and also makes it easier for advanced users to manage multiple sites.
- The user has complete control over the content that is being posted to the blog. Since you have the opportunity to control the content creation and posting process, you should end up with much better quality sites than other tools.
The launch date was September 21, 2011. I’ve had a chance to demo the software, and have provided my preliminary Easy Profit Bot review based on this.
The first thing you’ll see after logging in is the Easy ProfitBot Member’s Area:

Start Here: This is made up of three sub-sections
- Tools – The membership area includes a keyword tool and a domain finder tool. Both are very newbie-friendly and easy to use.
- Easy Profit Bot Software – See my detailed review of the Easy Profit Bot software below.
- Campaigns – This is a list of 20 complete campaigns that you can use to get started with right away. Each campaign includes niche competition data, a set of keywords, monetization options, and a themed blog template.
VIP Campaigns: Similar to the campaigns described above, here are another 40 complete campaigns in different niches.
Easy Traffic Bots:
- Indexanator – this is a very cool piece of software that allows you to easily ping url’s in bulk. It should save you a ton of time when trying to get your pages indexed (HINT: you can even use it to backlink your backlinks).
- Link Finder Pro – this software will find link building opportunities on blogs/forums and will also help you find guest blogger requests. It allows you filter by keyword if you’d like to stick to a specific niche. Finally, the tool has a cool feature that allows you to reverse engineer backlinks from other people. Simple, but neat!
- Market Research Tool – This is really more of a backlinking research tool than a market research tool, but it works differently from Link Finder Pro. It will automatically find where top competitors from a niche are getting their backlinks from. The best part about this tool is that it automatically organizes all the data for you on your computer.
WP Click (Upsell): This tool allows you to watch live, real-time recordings of your visitors interacting with your site. While this sounds good, I don’t think it’s really necessary with Easy Profit Bot based on the kind of sites you’re building. It could be very useful for other sites in your portfolio, but at $97 (for unlimited sites) you should really have a specific need for it if you choose to pick it up.

Easy Profit Bot Review
Now that you’ve seen everything that is included with your purchase of Easy Profit Bot, let me break down the review into a little more detail. I’ll primarily focus on the main software and plugins since that’s really what drives the system (and where I think it’s most lacking).
The software application is broken down into four simple tabs to make it very easy for beginners:
Module 1: Installation
The installation module is where you enter the basic settings that will be used for the blog installation. You will simply need to enter the following:
- CPanel details
- Blog details
- FTP details
Once this information is entered, click “Install” and wait for the installation process to complete. You’ll see a pop-up message letting you know when it’s done.
While “CPanel” and “FTP” may still sound intimidating if you’ve never done it before, it’s really very simple (and much easier than what you’d have to go through without Easy Profit Bot). Feel free to contact me with any questions related to this.
Module 2: Themes
Here you’ll click a button to preview a variety of available themes, then select one to automatically install and activate.
Module 3: Plugins
In this module the software will install and activate a number of recommended WordPress plugins to enhance SEO and performance. It will also upload the following proprietary Easy Profit Bot plugins:
- Auto ProfitBot – this plugin allows you to automatically add affiliate specific keywords on your site.
- Easy Spin – this works by changing the source code of the articles so that the articles look the same to your visitors, but unique to the search engines.
Module 4: Content
The final step is to select your content. Here, you will do the following:
- Select how frequently you would like your site to publish new posts
- Set a start date for posting your content
- Choose a posting category
- Enter the keywords you would like to target
- Select the type of content you’d like to add (articles and/or videos)
- Once the above information has been entered, you’ll click “Search” and the software will automatically find relevant content to post to your blog
- Once the content has been found, you will have the opportunity to preview them from within the software interface before publishing
- Place a checkmark next to what you’d like to have posted and the software will upload and schedule the content to your site (you can do this separately for the Articles and Videos)
That’s a pretty detailed description of the build process. While it may seem like a lot of steps, it’s actually pretty quick…you should be able to complete this entire process in less than 15 minutes.
I should point out that even though you will have built the entire site using the Easy Profit Bot software to this point, the end product will be a complete WordPress affiliate site. This means you can easily log in to your WordPress admin section and make any changes to the site that you’d like.
Where I think the software missed the mark is in the ability to customize posts. You basically have the option to add Ezine Articles and YouTube videos…that’s it. This may have been sufficient a couple of years ago, but I don’t think it will get you very far in 2011/2012. I would like to have seen the option to mashup different content sources, similar to what WPRobot or WPMage can do. HOWEVER, Easy Profit Bot is much cheaper and the Easy Spin plugin does help mitigate your risks (I’ll talk more about this in a minute).
The other thing I really didn’t like was the Auto Profit Bot plugin. As I mentioned above, you can set it up so that keywords on your site will automatically become affiliate links. While this sounds great, it can make your site look VERY spammy because it will link EACH instance of the keyword. They should make it so that you can limit the number of links on a page. Honestly, I wouldn’t use this plugin at all. Instead, I’d recommend installing SEO Smart Links (free), which pretty much does the same thing, but gives you more options.
I think it will be very easy to spot an Easy Profit Bot site unless they change the way things work.
Going back to the Easy Spin plugin, this is actually pretty neat because it makes your articles look unique to the search engines without changing the readibility at all. I don’t want to get into the technical details, but I consider it to be a little grey/black hat. It may work (at least in the short run), but I personally wouldn’t take this approach.
Easy Profit Bot Review Conclusion
The Good
I’ve made good money using autoblogs, however, the building process was quite different. Here are a couple of the features that I think really make Easy Profit Bot a good piece of software.
1) The software I had previously used was web-based, which added a layer of complexity for beginners since it required users to manually log into their CPanel account and install software. Because of this, many users without any experience were destined to fail before they even got started.
What I like about Easy Profit Bot is that it’s very simple and allows users to bypass intimidating parts of the process. It provides an easy way to get started, so you can really focus on what’s important – making money.
2) Having the ability to preview your content before posting is very nice, and right now Easy Profit Bot is the only software I’m aware of that allows you to do this. In my experience, if you don’t have the opportunity to preview your content, it’s easy to end up with irrelevant articles or videos, so this is definitely a welcome feature.
3) Easy Profit Bot will also automatically post comments to your video posts. This is nice because these comments are search engine friendly and count as content on your site, making your site look even more active.
4) The training videos are also clear and easy to follow.
The Bad
I’ve already pointed out in detail what I don’t like about the software and the Auto Profit Bot plugin, so I won’t repeat what I said above. Suffice to say, that I think the software has serious flaws.
My final conclusion is that Easy Profit Bot is not worth buying as it is.
It’s really unfortunate, because you can tell they put a lot of effort into this program, but I don’t like the fact that you have to rely on a grey/black hat approach to make it work. It’s a tempting purchase because the price point is very appealing, but I still can’t recommend buying this since they missed the mark on what I consider to be some very important aspects of any autoblogging software.
While the Easy Spin plugin may help make you money with this software in the short run, I think it’s only a matter of time before the search engines will catch on to this technique and start penalizing sites that take this approach.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This review is my opinion only. I hesitate to make claims about anything being black hat, so please do your own due diligence and don’t rely solely on my review.
